Uncolorful India

Respect comes from a Latin word that means to look or pay attention. I met these farmers from remote villages of India who have been displaced because of no rains. I offered them food but what touched their heart was that I found time to listen to them, pay attention to them and I feel that’s the real essence of respect.

I keep meeting lots of displaced families nowadays. I don’t know what’s going on but something is wrong. They’re hard-working farmers but in this sad situation because of wrong Government policies and indifferent attitude of the public.

If the farmer, who is called अन्नदात्ता sleeps empty stomach, how are we all going to eat? We have filled our big pocket but aren’t able to fill the little stomach of our dear farmer. It’s time to change, be the change, and color this part of our nation that is not colorful all.
