Agape is a remote village near Nagaland-Myanmar border; in India. It’s a Christian state, so literacy is high but due to the location, resources are scarce. Children didn’t have access to books. I came in touch with the principal of one such school and I worked with like-minded friends to collect a variety of children’s books.
We collected around 1,000 books and I personally went to the school to set-up a library. We keep sending books to them and today, all the schools in the area have access to a plethora of children’s books.
