Shit Happens–But For A Reason

Every morning, I express my sincere gratitude to my shit; it’s a great teacher. It’s only when I look at my shit, I realize that I am full of dirty and impure things, foul smell, flaws, imperfection and ugliness deep inside. This is turn, prevents me to say ill about others.

If I wish to speak ill about to others, I remember what’s inside me and my teacher reminds me to not to speak ill or judge, blame, criticize others, unless I am perfect.

So often, we speak ill of others without realizing that what you give out to the universe, it gives you back – and too in multiples. Chanakya—an ancient Indian teacher, philosopher, economist and management Gurubelieved that one must control the tongue and not speak ill of others, only then one can overpower the entire world.

Do not speak evil against one another, brothers. The one who speaks against a brother or judges his brother, speaks evil against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge. There is only one lawgiver and judge, he who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge your neighbor? James 4:11-12.

Hence, shit happens every day, and every day to teach us to recognize our weaknesses before pointing out others and showing them theirs. As we become grateful to our shit, we become grateful to the universe and our inner-self.
